Omaha Kings Travel to Minnesota for Saturday Night Matchup

The Omaha Kings FC hit the road this weekend for a Saturday night matchup against the Minnesota Blizzard in Minneapolis. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM CT as the Kings continue their push toward the postseason.

This will be the third meeting of the season between the two clubs. Omaha has taken the first two matchups, including a strong 9–4 victory on January 17 and another commanding 10–4 win on March 1 at Baxter Arena. The Kings will look to carry that momentum into Minnesota as they aim to extend their winning run against the Blizzard.

After a challenging start to the season, Omaha has found its rhythm in recent weeks. The Kings have scored 26 goals across their last three matches, securing consecutive victories and building confidence as the playoff picture approaches.

While Omaha has already secured a Wild Card berth as hosts of the MASL2 Finals, the team remains focused on improving its overall record and continuing to build form heading into postseason play.

Following Saturday’s matchup in Minnesota, the Kings will return to the road the next weekend for a club doubleheader series in Des Moines against the Iowa Demon Hawks on March 14 and March 15. Both nights will feature the Omaha Queens and Omaha Kings, with the Queens kicking off at 4:30 PM and the Kings following at 7:00 PM. The matches will mark the final two games of the season for the Queens, while serving as the final road tests of the regular season for the Kings as they continue their push toward the postseason.

The Kings will then close out their regular season schedule with one final home game at Baxter Arena on March 27, before turning their attention to hosting the MASL2 Finals in April.

For now, the focus remains on Saturday night in Minneapolis as Omaha looks to keep its momentum rolling.
