Omaha Kings and Queens Open 2025–26 Season with Doubleheader Showdown vs. Iowa Raptors

OMAHA, Neb. — Professional arena soccer returns to Baxter Arena this Saturday, December 20, as the Omaha Kings FC and Omaha Queens FC open their 2025–26 seasons with a marquee doubleheader against the Iowa Raptors.

The home opener marks the start of a six-game home slate for both clubs, with all matches hosted at Baxter Arena. One ticket grants fans access to both contests, with the Queens kicking off the evening at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Kings at 7:00 p.m.

Both Omaha squads enter the season with deep rosters and high expectations, built around a strong core of local and regional talent. The Kings return to MASL2 play as a proven playoff contender, while the Queens open their second MASLW campaign with a revamped lineup and strong preseason momentum—setting the stage for an exciting opening night at Baxter Arena.

Season Opener: Omaha vs. Iowa Raptors

Saturday’s doubleheader features a familiar and formidable opponent in the Iowa Raptors, a club with a long-standing presence in both indoor and outdoor soccer.

On the men’s side, the Raptors enter the matchup fresh off a thrilling MASL2 season opener earlier this month, showcasing their attacking depth and late-game resilience. Their recent performance signals a high-intensity showdown with the Kings, continuing a rivalry that has produced close, physical battles and playoff-level energy in recent seasons.

The women’s matchup adds another layer of intrigue as the Queens face the Raptors’ newly launched MASLW side. While Iowa continues to develop its women’s program, the matchup presents an opportunity for both teams to test depth, pace, and execution early in the season, setting the tone for league play.
