Omaha Kings join MASL 3 – Next Tier in Arena Soccer Pyramid
KANSAS CITY (July 23, 2020) – The Major Arena Soccer League III (M3) is proud to announce its first two members of the Central Conference, Omaha Kings FC and Sunflower State FC. The conference has also received a combined five additional applications and inquiries which are currently being reviewed by the league officials. The Kings, founded in 2019, operate both outdoor and indoor men’s teams and recently launched the Omaha Queens women’s side in April of 2020. Sunflower State FC is based in Kansas and fields an outdoor men’s team in addition to it’s indoor men’s team.

Sunflower State FC’s leadership team, Andrew Lentell and Joey Lipoff, shared a unified statement regarding the club’s move; “Sunflower State FC is excited to announce our entry into MASL 3 for the 2020 – 2021 season. The MASL has a proven tradition of the best arena soccer competition and we are excited to be part of this next chapter.
We look forward to the great opportunities that the MASL 3 will bring for our players and our club. The Heartland has a wealth of soccer talent and this new opportunity will help to further showcase player talent across the region.”

The fast-paced and fun atmosphere that indoor soccer brings will no doubt be a great addition to the Omaha community…
“Joining the MASL 3, and to be part of the first year of its formation is a very exciting venture for the Omaha Kings FC”, stated Kings owner, Emmanuel Viel. “We have tremendous, and often overlooked, local talent in this community, and as a first generation immigrant and owner, it has always been my dream to help provide more opportunities in the pro-soccer arena for these kids. With one successful year as an indoor semi-pro team already on record, joining the MASL 3 as forged the path for us to grow into M2 and M1, providing even more opportunities for local talent to go pro in the future. The fast-paced and fun atmosphere that indoor soccer brings will no doubt be a great addition to the Omaha community, and the Omaha Kings are proud to be a part of this.”
The Omaha Kings FC and Sunflower State FC join the Grand Rapids Wanderes FC and Muskegon Risers as inaugural MASL 3 members. To learn more about the Major Arena Soccer League III (M3) including membership, please visit maslsoccer.com/m3 and follow M3 on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
